Guest Appearance on Goblin Points

Hello, brave adventurers! This is an out of cycle post to share that I was recently interviewed on the Goblin Points podcast.

Goblin Points is a fan podcast of MCDM, an independent creator company that has influenced my style of game mastering and monster creation. MCDM is creating their own TTRPG that is pitched to be tactical, heroic, and cinematic. At this point I have no idea if it is a game my table will enjoy, but it is exciting to watch from the sidelines as the game develops.

Goblin Points provides monthly updates on the progress of the MCDM RPG development and other news from the community, which I am part of. I had a great deal of fun in the interview, and I am grateful to the host Jon for inviting me on.

I shall return next Saturday with a regular post. Until then, keep exploring!

Peter LaCara: The Withering War | Interview Goblin Points

I'm joined by Peter LaCara. He's currently writing and crowdfunding The Withering War, an epic war story adventure, inspired by the classic Red Hand of Doom, but especially made for Draw Steel. Peter explains what makes it different from the original, and other interpretations.Links to everything: https://goblinpoints.com/2618#linksChapters:00:00:00 – Intro00:00:45 – Interview00:43:31 – OutroSupport the showGoblinPoints.comStawl.appDiscord ServerLeave a comment on YouTube or Spotify, or send me an email at tips@goblinpoints.com.Theme music by Patrick Haesler.Art by Chris Malbon.

This is very cool. I’m always on the lookout for a new podcast so I’ll have to check them out. I’m really crossing my fingers for MCDM and hoping they knock it out of the park.

Thank you! I also hope MCDM crushes it. Latest eta I’ve heard on the game release is Q3 next year, which is a long time to maintain interest and enthusiasm.
